FAQs

What type of furniture do you take on?

I specialise in vintage, antique and well-made quality pieces that are built to last. I don’t take on fitted furniture, simply because I don’t have the space to handle projects of that size. I also don’t work on flat-pack or mass-produced items (like IKEA) - they’re not designed for the kind of refinishing I do and won’t hold up long-term, which means you’d end up disappointed (and I never want that!).

If you’re not sure whether your piece is suitable, just send me a photo and I’ll happily let you know if it’s something I can work with.

Can I commission you to work on my own furniture?

Yes! If you’ve got a family heirloom or a second-hand find that needs some love, I’d be happy to discuss options with you. Find out more about the commission process here.

What if I don’t have a piece yet?

That’s fine - choose something from my specially selected Made to Order range and we’ll work together on creating a bespoke design with mockups before I start.

How long does a commission take?

Each piece is different, but typically around 6–8 weeks from start to finish, depending on the size and finish. This is subject to change depending on workload at the time of booking. Find out more about the commission process here.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary based on the piece, size and finish. I’ll always provide a clear quote before starting. Please get in touch to dicuss your project. For a full price list

What’s the process?

Once we’ve agreed on your piece and design direction, I’ll give you an estimated timeline and cost. A 50% deposit secures your booking and the remaining balance is paid on completion.

Do you hold stock?

I mainly work on a commission basis, but occasionally I’ll have a finished piece or two for sale. You’ll find these in my online shop here or on my socials.

Can you restore my furniture back to its original finish?

Yes! Some clients prefer a restoration rather than a painted or refinished look.
